DEPUTY USE OF FORCE INVESTIGATION
The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department would like to address the recent incident involving one of our Deputies at the city of Palomino Creek. Following a thorough preliminary investigation into the matter, the Deputy in question shall be placed on administrative leave pending further review. The LSSD's Internal Affairs Bureau (IAB) will be looking into the matter and provide further insight to the public as soon as possible.
Ensuring the integrity and professionalism of our department is paramount, and any actions inconsistent with our standards will be met with appropriate measures. We take any allegations seriously and are committed to upholding the trust and confidence of the communities we serve. During this period of administrative leave, the Deputy in question will not be performing any duties within the Department. We assure the public that a transparent and fair process will be followed as we gather all pertinent information regarding the incident.
The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department remains dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of accountability and transparency. We appreciate the cooperation and understanding of the community as we work through this matter.
